To All Gymnasts Willing to Improve their Skills,
Georgia-Cumberland Academy will host our annual gymnastics clinic February 9-10, 2019. The stations will focus on acrosports, tossing, pyramids, tumbling, three-highs and other activities to build gymnastics skills. On Sunday afternoon, there will be a program that will give everyone the chance to perform. Parents are encouraged to come and watch.
Also available this year is the chance for students to complete their Tumbling and Balancing Pathfinder honor. We would love to see individual Pathfinders, as well as whole clubs, join us to take advantage of this opportunity.
We will start registration on Saturday night at 7:00 in the gym lobby and continue until the first clinic. Make sure to fill out all forms ahead of time. The clinic will start at around 7:30 and will continue until 10:00. Sunday’s clinics will start at 8:00 a.m. and continue up until the final performance at 3:30.
The cost to attend this event is $35, and includes a t-shirt, overnight accommodations, a snack on Saturday night, and breakfast and lunch on Sunday. Sponsors are required. One sponsor will be free, but any additional sponsor has to pay a fee of $15 that includes a t-shirt, food and housing. Please bring one check for your entire group, and make it out to Georgia-Cumberland Academy.
The registration and consent forms for the event are available to be filled out electronically via the link below. All participants must have their parents or guardians sign the registration/consent form or they will not be allowed to take part in the clinic.
This event will be beneficial to all, especially those without a lot of prior experience in gymnastics. The clinics will teach to different levels of talent. Do not miss the opportunity to learn and have fun.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. We will look forward to seeing everyone soon!
