Randy Kelch, IT director, was born in Minot, N.D., and grew up in the Midwest. Randy graduated from Dakota Adventist Academy and Southern Adventist University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in secondary education and chemistry and a minor in physics. He went on to complete a master’s degree in physics education from the University of Virginia.
Randy got his first taste of managing a computer network at Richmond Academy where he taught physical science, chemistry, computers, Bible, and PE. He went on to teach for 10 more years in the public school system in Maryland.
In his position at GCA, Randy is responsible for the management and upkeep of the student and staff computers and the school network. Randy also heads up the audio-visual component of the praise and worship program and assists with all audio and video recording needs on campus.

Outside of work, Randy enjoys cycling, woodworking, and gardening. Randy is married to Kalie Kelch, assistant chaplain, and together they have two teenage children.
