Continuing the Mission

More than 100 years ago a few visionary Seventh-day Adventists decided to purchase land in Reeves, Georgia, for the purpose of furthering God’s work in the South through education and health care. Fifty years later members of the Georgia-Cumberland Conference felt impressed to open a boarding academy. The school they built has well served the students who have attended. But GCA has grown and facility needs have changed over the last half century.

In recent years it became clear that funds are needed for capital improvements,  scholarships, and program support for both academic and extracurricular activities to move GCA forward and prepare for the future. As we contemplated all of these needs, God began working. Within a year and a half, GCA received donations and pledges totaling more than $8 million!

God is taking this school to a place we dreamed about but never thought possible. Since joining the school, I have come across plans for expansion and upgrades that were drafted in the 1990s but never came to fruition. The issue back then was insufficient resources, which is always a challenge. We still need additional funds to complete our building project, but God is clearly opening doors to see this project to completion.

We are excited about the future, but we need your help. Please consider partnering with us to impact young lives for eternity. Together we can inspire a new generation of young people who will take their place as leaders!

Thank you for prayerfully considering giving a gift to GCA and supporting us in our ministry to the young people who call this campus home.

Greg Gerard, GCA Principal

P.S. Please take a moment to see where we've come from and where God is leading our school. Thank you.
